Underground Utility Installation in West Texas

Underground utility installation is the full-scope work of getting water, sewer, gas, electric, and fiber lines into the ground — by boring where trenchless is right and open-cut where it isn't. We tie every method into complete installs across the Big Country.

What we install

Water and sewer mains and services, gas distribution and gathering lines, electrical primary and secondary, and telecom/fiber conduit. We handle the crossing (HDD, auger boring, or microtunneling), the open-cut runs where surface disruption is acceptable, tie-ins, and surface restoration.

We work for general contractors, municipalities and rural water districts, oil & gas operators, electrical and telecom contractors, and developers building out new sites.

Potholing and 811 locating

Before anything goes in the ground, existing utilities have to be found. Every job starts with an 811 One Call locate, and in congested ground we pothole — daylight the line with vacuum excavation — to confirm exact depth and position. A confirmed locate is the cheapest insurance on a job.

Bore or trench — choosing the method

Open-cut is cheapest where the surface can be disturbed and restored easily. Trenchless boring is the answer under roads, rail, drives, and developed areas where restoration costs more than the bore. We scope each crossing for the lowest total cost, restoration included.

Questions buyers ask

Underground Utility Installation — FAQ

Do you handle permits and locating?

Yes. We coordinate 811 locating, pothole where needed, and handle permitting for highway, railroad, and municipal crossings as part of the scope.

Can you install fiber conduit?

Yes — fiber and telecom conduit is among the most common lines we bore, for ISPs building out and for contractors on larger projects.

Do you do both boring and open-cut?

We do — trenchless where it saves on restoration and disruption, open-cut where it's lower-cost, often combining both on one job.
