About Abilene Boring Co.

Abilene Boring Co. is an underground construction contractor based in Abilene, Texas, serving West Texas and the Big Country. We run the full range of trenchless methods in-house — horizontal directional drilling, jack & bore, auger boring, and microtunneling — and build complete underground utility installations: water, sewer, gas, electric, and fiber.

Our work is the crossings West Texas is built on: under TxDOT highways, the Union Pacific mainline, rivers and creeks, wind-farm collector networks, and developed ground where trenching isn't an option. We scope the soil and the spec before we quote, locate every line through 811 before we drill, and build cased crossings to the railroad and DOT standards they require.
