Pipe Bursting & Pipe Lining (Trenchless Rehab)

Not every underground job is a new line — sometimes the line is already there and failing. Pipe bursting replaces it; cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining rehabilitates it from the inside. Both restore a pipe without trenching its full length.

Pipe bursting — replace in place

Pipe bursting pulls a bursting head through the old pipe, fracturing it outward while drawing new HDPE pipe in behind. You get a new, often upsized line along the existing path without excavating the whole run — just compact entry and exit pits. It's the trenchless answer for failed sewer and water mains under streets, yards, and drives.

CIPP lining — rehab from the inside

Cured-in-place pipe lining inserts a resin-saturated liner into the existing pipe and cures it into a new pipe within the old one. It seals cracks, stops infiltration, and extends service life with no digging along the line — ideal where the host pipe is structurally sound enough to reline.

Which one fits

If the pipe is collapsed, badly deteriorated, or needs upsizing, bursting. If it's intact but cracked or leaking, lining. We assess the line — often by camera — and recommend the method that restores it for the lowest total cost and disruption.

Questions buyers ask

Pipe Bursting & Pipe Lining — FAQ

Can you replace a sewer line without digging up my yard?

Usually yes. Pipe bursting replaces the line along its existing path from compact entry and exit pits, and CIPP lining rehabs it from the inside — neither requires trenching the full length.

How much does trenchless pipe repair cost?

It depends on length, diameter, depth, and the line's condition. We assess the pipe first, then quote the method that restores it for the lowest total cost.
