TxDOT crossings under I-20, US-83, US-84, US-277, and US-283 carry their own casing, depth, and permit requirements; county-road and city crossings have theirs. We size the casing, hold the grade, and handle the permitting and traffic control the crossing needs.
Method by crossing
Most road and rail crossings are jack and bore — straight, cased, on grade. Longer or curved crossings, or those under rivers and developed ground, go to HDD. Large-diameter or deep crossings go to microtunneling. The crossing decides the method.
